NinthEdge creates experiences for individuals, teams, and organizations that maximize the potential of learning moments through powerful conversations.

Our talents exist within the facilitation of learning, the facilitation of experience, and the facilitation of conversations.  We believe in the dynamic overlap of these three factors.

Our name stems from viewing the journey of learning and growth through the metaphor of drawing a cube – it is only when you draw the ninth edge of the cube that it begins to take its final form.  This is symbolic of the significant moments in learning that we strive to facilitate in our learners.

Greg Miller, President

Greg

Greg Miller is the founder and president of NinthEdge, Inc.  He is a highly experienced leadership and team development facilitator and trainer with expertise in experience-based training and development.

With an original background as an industrial engineer and then as an organizational development consultant and manager, Greg is skilled at providing performance development services to both technical and non-technical professionals.  He has worked with clients in a large spectrum of industries, including professional services, finance, high-tech, healthcare, education, and manufacturing.

Greg’s passion centers around helping people learn, and he delivers dynamic, learner-centered instruction, coaching, and facilitation to support this mission.

Greg graduated from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, with an M.S.Ed. in Educational Psychology, and The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a B.S.E. in Industrial Engineering.

Kyle Courtaway, Principal

Kyle Courtaway is a principal for NinthEdge, Inc. He focuses on the alignment of talent to business strategy and leader potential to organizational needs.

Kyle has over 18 years of experience working in all areas of strategic talent management including succession planning, high potential identification, competency modeling, performance management systems, executive coaching, 360° instrumentation, intact team development, and leadership development.

He currently consults with his own clients, holds senior consultant partnering roles within other consulting practices, and is Master Faculty for KornFerry’s Public Certification team. Kyle’s previous roles have included Learning and Development Consultant, Senior Leadership and Team Development Consultant, and Organizational Development Manager at Andersen; the Director of the Business and Professional Development Institute at the College of Lake County; and adjunct faculty at multiple colleges in the Chicago area teaching in all areas of talent management and development.

Kyle holds a M.S. in Communication and a B.S. in Public Relations from Illinois State University. He holds professional qualifications/certifications in the following:
